Description

A comforting and creamy skillet pasta dish that combines ground beef, Velveeta cheese, and zesty tomatoes, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
  • 1 cup milk
  • 8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Sauté for about 6-8 minutes or until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Cook until the onion is soft and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in the undrained diced tomatoes and cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  5. Reduce the heat to low. Pour in the milk and add the Velveeta cheese cubes. Stir continuously until the cheese melts completely and the sauce is creamy and smooth.
  6. Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet. Gently toss until the pasta is evenly coated with the creamy cheese sauce.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
