- 1 tube crescent rolls
- 4 oz chive and onion cream cheese
- 1.5 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 3 tsp finely chopped fresh rosemary or thyme
- 2 cups shredded Gruyere cheese (divided)
- 1 lb thinly sliced turkey
- 1 can whole berry cranberry sauce (14 oz)
- 2 tbsp butter (melted)
- 0.5 tsp poppy seeds
- 0.5 tsp granulated garlic
- 0.25 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent rolls, separate the triangles, and arrange them in a circular shape on the baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the cream cheese, Dijon mustard, and 1 tsp of fresh herbs.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the wider parts of the crescent dough.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded Gruyere cheese over the cream cheese mixture.
- Layer the thinly sliced turkey over the cheese.
- Spread half of the cranberry sauce over the turkey layer.
- Top with the remaining shredded Gruyere cheese.
- Fold the pointy ends of the crescent triangles up and over the filling.
- In a small bowl, melt the butter and mix in poppy seeds, garlic, and salt. Brush this mixture over the crescent ring.
- Sprinkle the remaining herbs over the buttered ring.
- Bake for 22-24 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
Notes
Make ahead by assembling the crescent ring a day prior and refrigerating. Can be frozen before baking.
