- 1 bunch of asparagus (approximately 1 lb), trimmed
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken and sear for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Transfer the chicken to a plate and cover to keep warm.
- Add the remaining butter and asparagus to the same skillet.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about a minute until fragrant.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, sprinkle with Parmesan, and gently toss.
- Serve with a squeeze of lemon on top.
