- 1 large Egg (for egg wash)
- 1 jar Nutella (or any thick chocolate or hazelnut spread)
- 1 cup Icing Sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out one sheet of puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut a large circle (about 12 inches in diameter).
- Place the pastry on a parchment-lined baking sheet, and spread a generous layer of Nutella, leaving a border around the edges.
- Roll out the second sheet of puff pastry and place it over the Nutella layer, gently pressing down around the edges.
- Cut slits into the top dough, radiating from the center outward like sun rays.
- Whisk the egg and brush it over the entire tart.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Once cool, dust the tart with icing sugar, slice, and serve!
