Description

This Crockpot Turkey Breast is juicy, tender, and infused with herbs, butter, and garlic. It’s the perfect easy holiday or weeknight dinner, made entirely in your slow cooker for stress-free, flavorful results.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (4–6 lb) bone-in or boneless turkey breast
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken or turkey broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 carrot, chopped

Instructions

1. Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels. If it has skin, gently lift it and rub seasoning underneath.

2. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, rosemary, sage, and lemon zest.

3. Rub the butter mixture all over the turkey, coating under the skin for extra flavor.

4. Add onion, celery, carrot, and garlic to the bottom of the crockpot. Pour in broth and Worcestershire sauce.

5. Place the seasoned turkey breast skin-side up on top of the vegetables.

6. Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

7. (Optional) For crispy skin, transfer the turkey breast to a baking sheet and broil for 4–5 minutes.

8. Let rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing. Serve with gravy and your favorite sides.

Notes

For best results, use a meat thermometer to ensure doneness at 165°F.

Bone-in turkey breast stays juicier than boneless.

Add citrus slices under the turkey for a bright flavor twist.

Save the cooking juices to make a quick homemade gravy.

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days or freeze for 3 months.
