Description

A cozy and flavorful Crockpot Mississippi Pot Roast that is tender and easy to prepare, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 pounds chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1012 pepperoncini peppers
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chuck roast in the crockpot, ensuring it sits flat for even cooking.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the roast.
  3. Add the pepperoncini peppers on top and pour the melted butter over the roast.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the roast is fork-tender.
  6. Once finished, shred the meat with a fork, mixing it with the cooking juices before serving.

Notes

For deeper flavor, sear the roast before placing it in the crockpot. Leftovers store well and taste even better the next day.
