- 3 Tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 cup heavy cream

- ⅓ cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes (drained)
- ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 10 fresh basil leaves (chopped)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts on both sides with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat. Sear the chicken for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the chicken broth and cornstarch until smooth.
- Pour the broth mixture into the slow cooker, and stir in minced garlic, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and paprika.
- Add the chopped sun-dried tomatoes, grated parmesan, and fresh basil; mix well.
- Nestle the seared chicken into the sauce, ensuring it’s well-coated.
- Cover and cook on LOW for about 3 hours or HIGH for 1½ hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
