Description

A comforting Crockpot dish featuring tender chicken, creamy cheese, and perfectly cooked pasta, infused with rich flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, cubed and softened
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or your favorite)
  • ½ cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • Optional: chopped parsley or extra Parmesan for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot, season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth, spreading the grated Parmesan cheese, cream cheese, and minced garlic evenly on top.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until the chicken is tender.
  4. Shred the chicken directly in the crockpot with two forks and mix it with the creamy sauce.
  5. Cook your pasta according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the crockpot along with the heavy cream, stirring well until everything is combined.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley or an extra sprinkle of Parmesan.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, let it cook uncovered for the last 30 minutes. Taste the sauce before serving and adjust seasoning as desired.
