- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, cubed and softened
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- ½ cup heavy cream or half-and-half
- 12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or your favorite)
- Chopped parsley for garnish
- Extra Parmesan cheese for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour chicken broth over the chicken and add grated Parmesan, cream cheese cubes, and minced garlic on top.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or on high for 2 to 3 hours until the chicken is tender.
- Shred the chicken in the crockpot and stir to combine with the sauce.
- Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- Add the drained pasta to the crockpot with the chicken and sauce. Pour in heavy cream and stir until combined.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
For best results, use homemade chicken broth. Adjust creaminess by varying the amount of heavy cream.
