- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Begin by layering the chicken breasts at the bottom of your Crockpot.
- Combine the cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl; whisk until smooth and pour over the chicken.
- Scatter the broccoli florets evenly over the sauce and chicken.
- Cover the Crockpot and set it to low for 240-300 minutes.
- Stir in 1.5 cups of shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream about 30 minutes before serving.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese on top just before serving.
- Serve over rice or mashed potatoes for a fulfilling meal.
Notes
For best results, check that the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Fresh herbs can enhance presentation and flavor.
