Description

A creamy and cozy dish made with chicken, cream cheese, and Italian flavors, perfect for busy families.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) Italian dressing mix
  • 12 ounces angel hair pasta
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your crockpot and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, condensed soup, melted butter, chicken broth, and Italian dressing until smooth.
  3. Drizzle the creamy mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for about 4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
  5. 15 minutes before serving, cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions.
  6. Shred the chicken in the crockpot and serve over the cooked pasta, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

This dish is easy to prepare in advance and perfect for freezing. Serve with garlic bread or a salad.
