Description

A comforting and flavorful crock pot chicken dish, combining creamy chicken soup and soy sauce for a delightful meal.


Ingredients

  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: rinse and pat dry the chicken breasts, mince the garlic, and chop the green onions.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your crock pot in an even layer.
  3. Pour the cream of chicken soup and soy sauce over the chicken.
  4. Sprinkle the minced garlic and Italian seasoning on top, and add black pepper to taste. Gently mix to coat the chicken.
  5. Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  6. Shred the chicken in the pot using two forks to soak up the sauce.
  7. Stir in the chopped green onions and serve over rice or pasta.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with cold water and add it during the last cooking phase. For veggie options, add vegetables halfway through cooking for added nutrition.
