Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites are bold, crunchy, and coated in a creamy sweet-spicy sauce. Perfect for parties or flavorful dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 lb salmon fillets (skinless, cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lime juice
Instructions
1. Cut the salmon into cubes and pat dry.
2. Set up breading bowls: flour, eggs, and panko mixed with seasonings.
3. Coat salmon in flour, then egg, then panko. Press crumbs gently.
4. Heat oil in a skillet. Fry salmon in batches, 2-3 minutes per side.
5. Drain on paper towels and let cool slightly.
6. Mix mayonnaise, chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice for sauce.
7. Drizzle sauce over salmon bites or serve on the side.
Notes
Make it gluten-free with GF flour and breadcrumbs.
Use an air fryer or oven for a lighter option.
Store leftovers up to 2 days in the fridge.
