Ingredients
- 4 large Yukon Gold potatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ΒΌ cup parmesan cheese, finely grated
- Β½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon parsley
Instructions
1. Rinse and scrub the Yukon Gold potatoes under cold water.
2. Using a sharp knife, cut the potatoes into thin 1/4 inch strips.
3. Transfer the strips to a large bowl, cover with ice water, and soak for 30 minutes.
4. Drain and pat the potatoes dry.
5. Toss with olive oil and kosher salt.
6. Preheat air fryer to 380Β°F. Spray or brush the basket lightly with oil.
7. Place fries in a single layer, working in batches.
8. Air fry for 18β20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
9. Mix parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and parsley in a small bowl.
10. Toss hot fries with the cheese and herb mix. Serve immediately.
Notes
Don’t skip the 30-minute soak β it removes starch and improves crispiness.
Avoid overcrowding the air fryer for even cooking.
Try Pecorino Romano instead of Parmesan for a bolder flavor.
