- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 can (10.5 ounce) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional for searing)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional for garnish)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Optional: Sear the chicken breasts in olive oil for 3-5 minutes before transferring to the slow cooker.
- Mix together cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper in a bowl until smooth.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until the chicken is tender and shreds easily.
- Garnish with shredded cheddar cheese and chopped parsley before serving.
