- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 ounces pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Juice of 2 fresh lemons
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, reserving some cooking water before draining.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then sauté until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes on each side.
- Lower the heat, add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in the heavy cream and lemon juice, mixing well. Add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
- Combine the drained pasta and cooked chicken into the sauce, gently tossing to coat. If too thick, add reserved pasta water to reach the desired consistency.

Serve with extra lemon zest and chopped parsley for added flavor and visual appeal.
