Instructions
- Set your Instant Pot to sauté mode and add olive oil, cooking the ground sausage until browned.
- Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic, sautéing until softened.
- Stir in the rice to coat with sausage and vegetables.
- Pour in the chicken broth, ensuring the rice is fully submerged.
- Seal the Instant Pot lid and set to manual high pressure for 5 minutes.
- Allow for a natural pressure release for about 5 minutes, then quick release remaining pressure.
- Stir in the heavy cream and cheese until melted and creamy.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper before serving warm.
Notes
