- 4 cups apples, peeled and chopped (about 4–5 medium tart apples such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the fresh cranberries evenly across the bottom of the baking dish.
- Scatter the chopped apples generously over the cranberries.
- Dust the sugar evenly over the fruit layers.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the sugary toppings.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes until the cranberries burst and juices bubble.
- Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
