- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the boneless chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix evenly over the chicken.
- Cut the cream cheese into cubes and scatter them over the top of the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until chicken is tender.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken in the pot using two forks, letting the juices meld with the meat.
- Stir everything together until well combined, making sure the chicken is coated in the creamy sauce.
- Dust the shredded cheddar cheese over the top, cover, and let it melt for about 10 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding garlic powder or a splash of hot sauce. This dish can be prepared in advance and stored in the fridge.
