Description
A comforting slow cooker beef ramen dish that melds warmth, flavor, and nostalgia, perfect for any time of the year.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound beef (such as flank steak or brisket)
- 4 cups beef broth
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 4 servings ramen noodles
- 2 soft-boiled eggs
- Fresh greens (like spinach or bok choy)
- Crunchy vegetables (like carrots or bell peppers)
- Sesame oil (optional)
Instructions
- Place the beef in your slow cooker alongside the beef broth, soy sauce, minced garlic, sliced ginger, and chopped green onions.
- Secure the lid and let it slow-cook on low heat for 6-8 hours, or until the beef effortlessly shreds with a fork.
- Once the beef is perfectly tender, remove it from the slow cooker, shred the meat using two forks, and return it back into the savory cooking broth.
- Prepare your ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Add them to the slow cooker in the final 10 minutes.
- Serve by ladling your ramen noodles into bowls topped with shredded beef, soft-boiled eggs, fresh greens, and crunchy vegetables. Drizzle sesame oil on top if desired.
Notes
For best results, sear the beef before slow cooking and add noodles in the last few minutes to prevent sogginess.
