Description
With a perfect blend of garlic and parmesan, this crockpot chicken is a joyful delight.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1.5 lbs baby potatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Start by placing the chicken breasts at the bottom of your crockpot, adding the halved baby potatoes around them for a colorful presentation.
- In a separate mixing bowl, combine the grated parmesan, minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, black pepper, and olive oil, mixing well until fluffy and aromatic.
- Pour the mixture evenly over the chicken and potatoes, ensuring they are coated in the garlicky goodness.
- Cover the crockpot and set it on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours, allowing the chicken to cook until it’s tender and juicy.
- Before serving, sprinkle fresh parsley over the top for a burst of color and added freshness.
Notes
Cooking on low yields more tender chicken. Stirring halfway through cooking can enhance flavor distribution.
