  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In your crockpot, place the chicken and drizzle with olive oil or butter. Season generously with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, spreading them evenly over the chicken.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth, stirring gently to mix without breaking up the chicken.
