- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 packets chicken gravy mix
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken soup
- 1.5 cups low sodium chicken broth or water
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.25 teaspoon onion powder
- 0.5 cup sour cream (optional)
- Cooked rice or mashed potatoes for serving
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder and black pepper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together chicken gravy mix, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth until smooth.
- Place the seasoned chicken in the crockpot and pour the gravy mixture over it.
- Cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the chicken using two forks and stir it back into the gravy.
- If desired, stir in sour cream and warm through for 10 minutes.
- Serve over cooked rice or mashed potatoes and garnish with chopped parsley.
