Instructions
- (Optional) Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Prepare the Sauce: In your slow cooker, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth.
- Combine Chicken and Sauce: Add the chicken breasts to the slow cooker, coating them in the sauce.
- Cook Gently: Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the Chicken: Once cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken inside the slow cooker.
- Add Creaminess: Stir in the sour cream until blended.
