  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for searing)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. (Optional) Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  2. Prepare the Sauce: In your slow cooker, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Combine Chicken and Sauce: Add the chicken breasts to the slow cooker, coating them in the sauce.
  4. Cook Gently: Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.
