Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cooked spaghetti
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In your crock pot, layer the cooked spaghetti, chicken breasts, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir all the ingredients together until they are well-combined and each piece has flavor.
- Cover the crock pot and set to low, letting it cook for 240-360 minutes until the chicken is tender.
- Once cooked, carefully shred the chicken directly in the pot with two forks, breaking it into bite-sized pieces.
- Add in the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring to melt it into the warm mixture.
- If desired, sprinkle the diced tomatoes on top before serving for a refreshing burst of flavor.
- Serve this cheesy chicken spaghetti scooped into bowls, paired ideally with crusty bread or a fresh salad.
Notes
For a vegan version, swap chicken for chickpeas or tofu and use cashew cream or coconut milk.
