- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

- 1/2 cup sliced almonds

Instructions
- Trim the ends of the green beans and blanch them in boiling water for 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the sliced almonds and cook until lightly toasted, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the drained green beans to the skillet and toss to combine, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and drizzle with lemon juice if desired.
- Serve warm.

For a vegan version, substitute butter with olive oil or vegan butter and adjust the seasonings as needed.
