Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 16 oz (450g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon; set aside.
- Unroll one can of crescent roll dough into the prepared baking dish, sealing seams to form an even layer.
- In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add 1 cup granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough in the baking dish.
- Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough on top of the cream cheese, sealing the edges.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the top dough layer.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and set. Allow to cool to room temperature before refrigerating for at least an hour.
- Slice into bars and serve chilled, optionally sprinkling with additional cinnamon.
Notes
Consider adding a chocolate drizzle for an extra touch. Allowing the bars to chill enhances flavors and texture.
