- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef or turkey with breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Roll the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a greased baking sheet.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the cranberry sauce, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and brown sugar.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until fully cooked.
- Serve warm as a delightful appetizer.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, substitute ground meat with crumbled tempeh. Can be frozen for up to three months.
