- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup salsa
- 2 cups bowtie pasta
- 1 can (15 oz) beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and brown the ground beef, ensuring it’s fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the salsa, bowtie pasta, drained beans, and water to the pot. Stir well to combine.
- Secure the lid on the Instant Pot, making sure the valve is set to sealing. Cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
- Once the cooking time is complete, perform a quick release to let the steam out.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it melts and coats the pasta.
- Season generously with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
Notes
Consider adding chopped cilantro or green onions for freshness. This dish can also easily be adjusted for heat and flavor based on your preferences.
