Description

A comforting and delicious creamy broccoli chicken crescent bake that layers flavors beautifully, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup broccoli florets, steamed
  • 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, steamed broccoli, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and lay it in a greased baking dish, pressing the seams together to form a crust.
  4. Spread the chicken and broccoli mixture evenly over the crescent roll crust.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a crispy top, broil the dish for a minute or two at the end of baking, but watch closely to prevent burning.
