Description

A comforting dish that combines bold Cajun flavors with rich garlic cream sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound salmon, cut into fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, pour in the olive oil and let it warm up. While the oil heats, season the shrimp and salmon generously with Cajun seasoning.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the salmon and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the seasoned shrimp and sauté for approximately 2-3 minutes until they turn pink. Remove the shrimp and keep them with the salmon.
  4. Add the minced garlic to the skillet, stirring for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts smoothly. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
  6. Return both the shrimp and salmon to the skillet, ensuring they are well-coated in the creamy sauce.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

For a lighter version, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream. To customize, try adding a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
