Description
A comforting dish that combines bold Cajun flavors with rich garlic cream sauce, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound salmon, cut into fillets
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, pour in the olive oil and let it warm up. While the oil heats, season the shrimp and salmon generously with Cajun seasoning.
- Place the salmon fillets in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the salmon and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the seasoned shrimp and sauté for approximately 2-3 minutes until they turn pink. Remove the shrimp and keep them with the salmon.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet, stirring for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts smoothly. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
- Return both the shrimp and salmon to the skillet, ensuring they are well-coated in the creamy sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
Notes
For a lighter version, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream. To customize, try adding a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
