Description

Grill up something special with these flavorful steak kabobs, perfect for easy weeknight dinners or weekend gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs beef sirloin, cut into -inch cubes
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 red onion, cut into chunks
  • 1 zucchini, sliced into thick rounds
  • 8 oz mushrooms, whole or halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Metal or wooden skewers (if using wooden, soak in water for 30 minutes before grilling)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the beef cubes to the marinade and toss to coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 8 hours.
  3. Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes if using them.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated beef, bell peppers, red onion, zucchini, and mushrooms onto the skewers alternately.
  6. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10–12 minutes, turning every few minutes.
  7. Remove from the grill and let sit for a few moments before serving.

Notes

For a vegan option, substitute beef with marinated tofu. Marination overnight is recommended for enhanced flavor.
