  • 4 potatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup cheese, shredded (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Layer sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish at the bottom.
  6. Pour the beef mixture over the potatoes.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the potatoes are fork-tender and the top is golden brown.
  9. Optional: Sprinkle cheese over the top before serving.
