Ingredients

- 1 can wild caught salmon
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the wild caught salmon, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, parsley, egg, Dijon mustard, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Gently mix the ingredients until evenly combined.
- Shape the mixture into small patties, about 2 to 3 inches in diameter.
- In a skillet, heat a generous amount of oil over medium heat until it shimmers.
- Carefully place the patties in the skillet and fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they develop a lovely golden brown color.
- Once cooked, remove the patties from the skillet and allow them to drain on paper towels. Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
Don’t overcook to prevent drying out, and feel free to adjust seasonings to preference.
