- 1 pound boneless chicken thighs
- 1 medium onion
- 2 jalapeño peppers
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 cups cooked rice
Instructions
- Cut the boneless chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onions for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
- Add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Stir in chopped jalapeños, soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and serve hot over cooked rice.
Notes
For a milder taste, remove the seeds from jalapeños. Substitute chicken with tofu or tempeh for a plant-based option.
