- 4 pieces chicken breasts
- 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 pieces eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1–2 tbsp hot sauce
- Olive oil for cooking
- Salt and pepper for seasoning
- Fresh herbs (optional) for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs. Dip each chicken breast in flour, then in egg, and finally in breadcrumbs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the breaded chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a saucepan, warm honey and hot sauce until combined for the glaze.
- Drizzle the hot honey over the cooked chicken and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
Try using panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch and adjust the spiciness of the hot honey to your preference.
