Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Sear until golden brown, about 5–7 minutes on each side.
  3. Remove chicken from skillet and place on a plate.
  4. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for approximately one minute.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the pan, bringing it to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and Italian seasoning, then return the chicken to the skillet to soak in the sauce.
  7. Simmer for an additional 10–15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
