- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup oats
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, oats, salt, and baking powder; mix into the butter-sugar mixture.
- Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the baking dish.
- In a saucepan, combine cranberries and orange juice; cook until cranberries burst, about 5-7 minutes.
- Spread the cranberry mixture over the crust.
- Crumble the remaining oat mixture over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
- Let cool before glazing with powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla.
- Slice into squares and enjoy!

Store bars in an airtight container for up to a week; freeze individual pieces for up to three months.
