  • 45 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Optional: mushrooms, spinach, or sun-dried tomatoes
  • Optional: red pepper flakes or cayenne for a spicy kick
  • Optional: mozzarella or provolone cheese for extra cheesiness
  • Dairy-Free Alternative: coconut milk and nutritional yeast

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Place the seasoned chicken at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Add minced garlic, chicken broth, and butter on top of the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours until the chicken is tender.
  5. Remove the chicken, stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, and cook on low for an additional 15 minutes until bubbling.
  6. Return chicken to the slow cooker, coat in the sauce, and garnish with parsley before serving.
