- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet of ranch dressing mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix evenly over the chicken.
- In a separate bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup with the chicken broth until smooth, then pour it over the chicken.
- Cut the softened cream cheese into cubes and arrange them on top of the mixture.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover the crockpot and set the heat to low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is tender.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks inside the crockpot and mix it with the sauce.
- Stir in the shredded mozzarella cheese and cover for an additional 5-10 minutes until melted.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For best results, shred the chicken in the sauce to ensure every bite is infused with flavor. You can use different cheeses based on your preference.
