- 2 tubes of refrigerated pizza dough
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup mini pepperoni or chopped salami
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- Optional: chopped basil, crushed red pepper, or festive toppings like sliced olives or bell peppers
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Unroll the pizza dough onto a clean surface and cut it into 2×2 inch squares.
- Place a pinch of mozzarella cheese and bits of pepperoni or your chosen toppings at the center of each square.
- Fold the corners of the dough together and press them tightly to seal.
- Arrange the sealed dough balls on the baking sheet creatively.
- Brush the tops with the egg wash and bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
- Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan after baking.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce or pesto for dipping.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, replace meats with roasted vegetables or crumbled tofu. These can be frozen before baking for later enjoyment.
