- 1 lb. ground beef (or turkey)
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add the ground meat, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and salsa, allowing it to simmer for a few minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously until fully combined.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and gently toss to coat.
- Stir in the shredded cheese until it melts into the mixture.
- Season with salt and pepper, and serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
