- 2 cans (14.5 oz each) green beans, drained
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup French fried onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and half of the French fried onions.
- Stir everything gently until it’s well mixed, then season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until bubbling.
- Remove the casserole and sprinkle the remaining French fried onions on top.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the onions are golden brown.
Notes
Add garlic powder or onion powder for extra flavor. For a crispy topping, consider broiling the casserole for a couple of minutes after baking.
