  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 pound asparagus spears (trimmed)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 lemon (cut into wedges for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season both sides of the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large oven-proof skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for about 3-4 minutes on each side until it turns golden brown.
  4. Remove the skillet from heat and pour Caesar dressing over the chicken, ensuring a thick coat. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly on top.
  5. Arrange the trimmed asparagus around the chicken, and dust garlic powder over the asparagus.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the asparagus is tender yet crisp.
  7. Allow it to rest for a few minutes, then add a sprinkle of freshly squeezed lemon juice before serving.

Notes

For the best texture, opt for freshly grated Parmesan. You can replace chicken with tofu for a vegan version.
