Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or chives

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Rinse and pat dry the chicken pieces using paper towels.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil and ranch seasoning; rub this mixture generously over the chicken.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken in a baking dish and bake for 25–30 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  5. Optional: Add cheddar cheese on top for the last 5 minutes of baking.
  6. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving and garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes

For juicier results, use chicken thighs instead of breasts. Marinating chicken in ranch seasoning enhances the flavor.
