Description

This 5-Minute Bruschetta Dip is a creamy, cheesy Italian appetizer made with whipped feta and cream cheese, topped with fresh basil tomatoes and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Quick, easy, and perfect for parties or casual gatherings!


Ingredients

For the whipped feta and cream cheese:

  • 300 g cream cheese
  • 200 g feta
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon, zested

 

For the basil tomatoes:

  • 250 g cherry tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 5 g basil, finely sliced

Toppings:

  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. In a food processor, combine cream cheese, feta, olive oil, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

2. In a separate bowl, mix chopped cherry tomatoes, olive oil, minced garlic, and basil. Stir to combine and season with salt and pepper.

3. Spread the whipped cheese mixture on the bottom of a shallow serving dish or plate.

4. Top with the tomato mixture, drizzle with balsamic glaze, and serve with toasted baguette slices, pita chips, or crackers.

Notes

Use block feta and full-fat cream cheese for the best texture.

Prepare the cheese and tomato components up to a day ahead and assemble before serving.

Add chili flakes or diced olives for a flavorful twist.

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days in an airtight container.
